Callie had her surgery to repair her knee, which was moving in and out of socket, if you may recall, back in…. April? May? Gosh, it’s been awhile!

After eight long weeks of strict leash and crate restrictions, we were slapped with a month of looser restrictions that have been WAY harder to maintain. She was allowed to walk on a leash as much as she wanted, but she wasn’t supposed to run. We were good about the looser restrictions for about 2 weeks. Y’all, she is moving SO well and she has been rarin’ to go, especially for the past 2 weeks. She’s playing with Bandit, checking out the blackberries, playing short-distance fetch with us and Pud, and getting back to work in public. Public access is taking a little bit of retraining and re-socialization, as she’s been off-duty for so long, but one plus of all those days of leash-only walks is that she can heel beautifully with the stroller…
